Gary Fedoroff, LMFT , CAADC ll

Since 2003, Gary Fedoroff has been dedicated to helping adolescents and families throughout Marin County navigate mental health, substance use, and life’s challenges. With more than two decades of experience, he has developed youth programs, provided counseling in schools and Juvenile Drug Court, and worked extensively with teens in outpatient and residential treatment settings.

As the founder of Marin Recovery Solutions, Gary specializes in working with adolescents, young adults, and families using an individualized approach that blends evidence-based therapies, including CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and motivational interviewing, with experiential interventions. Whether in the therapy office, on a hiking trail, or at a skate park, he believes meaningful change happens through authentic connection and engaging experiences.

Gary earned his Master’s degree from Dominican University of California and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and California Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor II (CAADC-II). He lives in Mill Valley with his wife, Ryan, and their two children.

Kori Stevenson , AMFT APCC

Kori Stevenson, AMFT, APCC is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor with over 2,500 hours of clinical experience and more than 20 years of personal and professional experience in recovery from substance use disorders. She specializes in helping adolescents, adults, and families navigate challenges related to addiction, mental health, life transitions, and personal growth.

 Kori utilizes evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients identify their strengths, build resilience, and create lasting, meaningful change. Her therapeutic style is compassionate, collaborative, and focused on empowering clients to achieve their goals.

In addition to her clinical work, Kori volunteers at both the San Quentin Rehabilitation Center and the Marin County Jail, supporting individuals on their recovery and rehabilitation journeys. Outside of the therapy room, she enjoys staying active through fitness and is a passionate fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Alyssa Sontag, AMFT

Alyssa Sontag is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #152810) dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and adults navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and resilience. Alyssa brings nearly a decade of personal experience in long-term recovery, offering clients a genuine understanding of healing, growth, and lasting change.

 Her approach is integrative, drawing from Humanistic, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and attachment-based interventions and orientations. Alyssa specializes in anxiety, emotional regulation, substance use, relationships, identity development, and self-esteem. Known for her warmth, humor, and direct yet compassionate style, she creates a space where clients feel understood and safe—and more empowered to make meaningful, lasting change.

 Outside of the therapy room, Alyssa is a dedicated yogi and believes that full healing happens through connection and living an authentic life.

Vanessa Welstead CADC

Vanessa Welstead is a Bay Area-based certified ARISE Interventionist (CAI) who specializes in supporting individuals and their families on their path to recovery from substance abuse. Vanessa began her work in long-term intervention work in 2021. Vanessa is dedicated to creating a professional, safe and supportive environment for her clients and their families to start on their recovery path. She tailors her approach to meet each client’s unique needs, ensuring they feel valued and understood, while adhering to a harm-reduction approach. Deeply passionate about her work and inspired by her family, Vanessa is committed to making a positive, lasting impact in the lives of those she supports.  Vanessa is a graduate of City College of San Francisco’s Addiction & Recovery Counseling Certificate Program. She is the host of “Wherever You Go, There You Are (https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/wherever-you-go-there-you-are/id1596528685)”, a podcast that shares stories of recovery.  She resides in Marin County, California and when not with her husband & three kids, can be found running trails.
